Fly with Julie
Julia Höllwart has been running the Haven since the idea for it first came into the world. This hotel project fell into her lap right after university. With all the responsibility and many opportunities.
How did you come up with the concept of the Haven?
It was a joint action. The whole family wanted to complete the holiday offer of Höllwart Hotels with this third hotel project. In addition to a hotel for adults and one for family people, there should be apartments for free spirits who want to spend their holidays beyond the usual settings.
What are you particularly proud of?
Of the architecture. I think it’s courageous and particularly successful. By the way, it was designed by my better half Lenhart. Courageous, because we opted for avant-garde natural materials. And successful because, despite the pronounced design component, it is very cosy here. The Haven manages to combine urban lifestyle with closeness to nature.
What else do you plan to do with the Haven?
Oh, the list is long and it’s hard not to want to do everything at once. But I’m staying put for now and learning from the guests’ feedback. Then it’s time for grills on the balconies and original extras that make up a mature Höllwart Hotel.
hotel.
Does that mean you yourself can take a break after the turbulent construction phase?
Nope. For the time being, the Haven will remain a baby that keeps me busy 24/7. I love it anyway. I want it to grow and thrive, have lots of friends, find its place in the world one day and start a family, hahaha.
