In the immediate vicinity and within walking distance of the Hotel Oberforsthof, just 180 meters away, an animal adventure awaits you at the “OberHof”. Chickens, rabbits, goats, alpacas and mini pigs – there’s plenty going on here! Especially cool: If you book in advance, you can go for a walk with the fluffy alpacas Apollo and Paolo and explore Alpendorf together. And the other animal residents are really looking forward to being stroked by you!

Whether it’s family hikes, guided e-bike tours, mini-golf, or time at adventure playgrounds—plus green fees included for relaxing hours on the golf course. Those who prefer a more active pace can try rafting, archery, via ferrata, or explore the world’s largest ice cave.
Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory. Only one thing is certain: there’s no room for boredom here.
There’s hardly a gentler way to discover winter sports: the children’s ski school is right next to the hotel, ski rentals are conveniently located on-site, and the slopes are right outside the door. With great sensitivity, experienced ski instructors guide children through their first turns—from a playful introduction in the Kids’ Area to the slopes in Snow Space. In small groups, with lots of fun, and of course always by their side: the mascot, Kater Carlo. And there’s plenty to do off the slopes as well—including sledding, ice skating, and winter hikes.
The Family Spa at the FORA Spa in our sister hotel, the Oberforsthof, can be easily booked as a day spa—at attractive rates for Haven guests.
Spanning approximately 700 square meters, families can enjoy a spacious water park featuring a warm indoor pool, a 60-meter tube slide, a wide wave slide, and a toddler pool with a mini slide. A clothing-required sauna and cozy lounging areas also invite you to relax together. Flooded with natural light on the garden level, with direct access to the spacious green area—for carefree moments of relaxation both indoors and outdoors.
This makes holidays with the minis a completely carefree pleasure: Plenty of room to play in multi-room suites with balcony and kitchenette. Pool and playground right next door.
