Take a break from the stress of the pre-Christmas period and relax with us in the snow-covered countryside. Enjoy winter sports right on your doorstep, chill out with extra privacy, or visit snow-covered Christmas markets. On top of that, our Advent program and daily yoga classes will ensure that you start the Christmas holidays and the New Year full of anticipation and energy.
On Fridays and Sundays, we invite you to reach the atmospheric Mountain Advent in Großarl comfortably and free of charge with our shuttle service.
On Thursdays and Saturdays, we will take you to the sparkling Advent lights for free – an unforgettable experience full of twinkling lights.
Every Tuesday and Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – creative hours full of glitter, joy, and Christmas craft ideas.

Wrap up warm in the quiet winter landscape and crystal-clear air, and find yourself coming to your senses all by yourself.
Our alpacas Apollo & Paolo are naturally in the flow – join them and hike with them to the most beautiful viewpoints in Alpendorf.
High above St. Johann, you can enjoy fairy-tale stories, mulled wine, and punch on a 2-hour carriage ride.*

Salzburg’s Advent season is colorful and cheerful, with extended shopping trips through the festively decorated shopping streets and promenades. A visit to the world-famous Christkindlmarkt Christmas market is the perfect way to round off a shopping trip.
On December 24, we invite all guests to a Christmas aperitif in the festive atmosphere of deck7. Afterwards, you can enjoy our magnificent 5-course Christmas menu. PS: There is also a vegan menu and vegetarian options available.
For our younger guests: Santa Claus will be handing out presents at the Oberforsthof.
Put on your skis right outside your front door and head straight into Austria’s largest ski area. Next door, a winter wonderland awaits, which you will have almost entirely to yourself. From November 30, snow is guaranteed – and during this special Advent season, you can enjoy the calm before the storm. Few people, undisturbed slopes, wide turns, and the feeling of being at one with nature. You can hardly experience skiing in winter in a more beautiful and relaxed way.
You don’t have to be a skier to experience winter at its best with us. There is so much more waiting for you away from the hustle and bustle of the ski resorts. Imagine strolling through peaceful winter landscapes on Christmas hikes, breathing in the fresh mountain air, and enjoying the special Advent atmosphere in complete tranquility.
